Since 2008, Angela has been an Adjunct Professor of Violin at Bethel University and Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary. She also maintains a private teaching studio out of her home.
In addition, Dr. Hanson is an avid performer in the Twin Cities as a member of the Minnesota Opera Orchestra since 2005 (and concertmaster in 2006-2007), and as a substitute violinist for the Minnesota Orchestra and Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. She is currently concertmaster of the Saint Paul Civic Symphony as well as a regular member of the Sinfonia.
Angela completed her Master’s and Doctor of Music Arts degrees in violin performance at the University of Minnesota where she worked with internationally known pedagogue, Sally O’Reilly. Originally from Wheaton, IL, Hanson also holds a Bachelor of Music degree from St. Olaf College under the study of Charles Gray.
